Habitat and Distribution

Found in swamps and ponds. They can be found in Northern and Eastern Australia.

About the animal:

  • Green Tree frogs have a smooth green skin that can change shade;
  • They have a white underbelly and scattering of white spots on its back;
  • The live a solitary existence;
  • During mating they make a noise like timber being sawn;
  • Up to 2000 eggs are laid and there is no parental care;
  • Tadpoles grow into frogs after 4-6 weeks.

What they eat?

They are carnivores and eat insects and worms.
